History

2010: Fourth Edition
Held at the Kalahari resort and conference center January 20-22, 2010, the MEGA conference was attended by 531 individuals from all over Wisconsin. Wednesday night featured a networking reception in the exhibitor hall with celebrity impersonators of Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. A few of Thursday speakers were, "More Than 100 Years Old and Still Thriving: Enduring Service Lessons from Mayo Clinic" - Leonard L. Berry, PH.D. - Texas A&M University," and "The Reality of Health Reform" - Dr. Jeffrey Bauer AHC. Thursday night featured a vendor faire of over 92 different companies. Friday consisted of more speakers "The Four Evolutions of Excellence," Vilis Ozols - Ozols Business Group, and finally ACHE session on "Comprehensive Leadership for Senior-Level Executives" - Thomas Atchinson - Atchinson Consulting.

2008: Third Edition
Held at the Kalahari resort and conference center January 30, 31 and February 1, 2008, the MEGA conference was attended by 492 individuals from all over Wisconsin. Wednesday night featured a networking reception with T.K. Magician as entertainment. Thursday speakers topics ranges from Dr. Jim Harris: "Three-Way Leadership: How Healthcare Managers Effectively Lead Up, Down and, Across Their Facilities" to David Snow, "Advanced Reimbursement: “The Medicare Chess Game”" Thursday night featured a vendor faire of over 90 different companies. Friday consisted of more speakers Jeanne Scott "Election 2008, reform US Healthcare … or Else!" and keynote Dr. Bill McConkey speaking on "Why is There No Statue?"


2006: Second Edition
Held at the Kalahari resort and conference center January 18-20, 2006, the MEGA conference was attended by 474 individuals from all over Wisconsin. Wednesday night featured a networking reception with Pat McCurdy as entertainment. Thursday speakers topics ranges from Al Stubblefield: "Creating a Culture that Wows" to Thomas Buckhoff, "Fraud in the Healthcare Industry." Thursday night featured a vendor faire of over 90 different companies. Friday consisted of more speakers and keynote Ilona Abrahamson speaking on "Staying in Shape"

2004: First Edition
Held at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center connected to the Oneida Casino in Green Bay, WI January 28-30, 2004. 314 individuals attended from all over Wisconsin. Wednesday night consisted of visiting the newly remodeled Lambeau Field Atrium with a tour of Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame. Thursday was filled with speakers along with a Vendor Faire of over 49 different companies. Friday finished with Green Bay Packer Larry McCaren.
